Whether you're looking to relocate, purchase investment property in Friday Harbor or find the ideal family vacation home in the San Juan Islands, as a third generation San Juan Islander and a second-generation real estate agent in Friday Harbor, I have many insights to share about Friday Harbor and the San Juan Islands.
The San Juan Islands are an archipelago in Northwest Washington located just 90 miles Northwest of Seattle and they sit adjacent to the Canadian Gulf Islands. The Island of San Juan itself holds the county seat to San Juan County, which encompasses about 172 islands all-varying in size. Most of the residents in the San Juan Islands reside on the four Washington State Ferry system served islands; Lopez Island, Orcas Island, San Juan Island, and Shaw Island.
For traveling to and around the San Juan Islands you can choose to go by Ferry, float plane or private craft. On San Juan Island both Roche Harbor and Port of Friday Harbor offer full marina services and air landing strips. Flights from Seattle area to the San Juan Islands are a beautiful and scenic 45 minutes away. Also, be sure to visit IslandCam.
If you are considering the San Juan Islands for your next home or property investment, feel free to view my current property listings, or all local island Northwest Multiple Listings. These listings will give you a good idea of what is available - an array of choices can be found from private forested setting with waterfront to luxury estate homes.
The Islands do offer a broad diversity of activity and lifestyles and I hope you take full advantage of my online resources depicting the Island communities and Island style of living in the San Juan Islands.
How may I be of service to you?
